Beds

For as long as I can remember my Mom has talked about wanting one of those adjustable beds. Actually the other day she said she is having to sleep propped up on a wedge to help her sleep. So, I know it's not just a want for her, it's an actual need. They got a new bed a few years ago & I'm not sure why they didn't get an adjustable bed then. But I bet she regrets it now.

Not Moving

Well.....We are not moving to Tennessee after all. D lost his job. Not sure what the future hold for us at this point. Life is mixed up & so are my emotions.

Insurance

I have several family members who have had to use SSDI benefits. I don't know how they would have made it without those benefits. Insurance is such a blessing & if you have it you shouldn't take it for granted. We are without insurance right now & I have been dealing with some health issues. I just kept putting off going to the doctor, then I ended up in the ER. Thankfully, I got the care I needed.

Milk

Since I have not had any babies this is not a concern I have ever had. But I do have friends that needed to increase breast milk since they were breast feeding their babies. If & when I am able to get pregnant, I do plan on breast feeding. But I do know you can "plan" all you want to, but life some times has other ideas how things will work out.

Dark Circles

Do you know how to get rid of dark circles under my eyes? I don't know how to get rid of them, but I do know how to cover them up. I learned some tricks back in the "make-up days." I miss those days from time to time. I wonder how far I would have gone in that career if we had stayed in LA. I would have loved to have become a freelance artist.

Naturally Clear

Nowadays there is so much over processed, chemically enhanced stuff, it's nice when you can find things that are all natural or organic. Even natural acne remedies. Skin on your face is so sensitive to begin with, the last thing you want to do it pack a bunch of harsh things on there. I know there are times people are desperate for ance relief, but to be able to have clear skin naturally is best.

Valentine's Day

HTC HD7

I got a new phone back before Christmas & I wanted a HTC HD7 sooooo badly, but I wans't able too. Have you seen these things? Oh me! Oh my! I love that there is a kickstand so you can watch TV/movies. How fun is that! I am also digging the fabulous camcorder.Maybe, just maybe I can upgrade this year.

Memory

I take so many photos that it doesn't take long before it consumes my computer & makes it run too slow. I really need to invest in some more computer memory. Thankfully D has his own laptop now & I got to remove some of the things he had installed on mine. That helped a ton. Plus I saved my photos & put them in the fire proof box.

Merchandiser

Most of my working days I spent in retail. I loved it for the most part. And one of my most favorite parts were doing the window displays & dressing the mannequins. I learned to be a good merchandiser from a very early age. My parents owned a gas station & my Mom taught me how to display things. One of my jobs were going up & down the aisle at night & making sure all of the products were facing out.

Jobs

Back in November D lost his job. And it was out of the blue. He immediately search through jobs online. But thankfully he made a phone call to a friend & that friend referred him to a place in need of someone with D's skills in the sound industry. The catch...A move to Memphis. He is now on his 6th week of commuting. While I am home packing & looking online for homes. Hopefully we will know something on a house this week & the BIG move will officially happen.

Get the pounds off

I have gained so much weight in the last year. Blah. And right now I am in the midst of so much emotional eating, with the move to Memphis & all the changes going on around me that are out of my control. I want to lose some weight, but there is no way I could even begin to focus on that. But once we get moved & settled I will be look a     diet pill review for sure. I am going to need all of the help I can get.

Award Season

Awards season is coming up. I just love seeing all of the dresses. I think I like to see the worst dressed list, more than the best. I know those ladies in Hollywood know of a crash diet that works, to fit into those new frocks. Please they want to be in tip tip shape for the thousands of photos that was taken during this time of the year. I can not imagine being set up for that kind of scrutiny these people are under on a daily bases.

The Great Snow 2011

Tomorrow we are expecting a "great" snow storm here in Alabama. If you know anything about Alabama weather, than you it does not snow here very often. So, when the weather men say "snow" there is a frenzy. The grocery stores are wiped clean of food & safety goods. And every generator in town including the honda generator eu2000i are sold out! This is serious business in these parts. You should see the isles at the grocery store tonight. There is nothing left.

Remodels

I have been searching & searching the internet for a home for us. Some have been so cute. Then there are the ones that are horrendous. They need to be remodeled completely. Especially the bathrooms, which need a new toilet, bath vanity & tub. I am honestly not that picky. If I were, I wouldn't be living where I do now. Haha! But I want a home to be nice.

A new year

Life is changing a lot right now. We made it through the Holidays. My house is now half packed up. D is commuting for work. We are looking for a place to live. And my head is swirling as my heart is breaking. Welcome 2011.

Pine

I have some friends who have a log cabin at the river & the entire place is full of pine furniture, including pine beds. I have never been up to the cabin, but I have seen photos of it. My parents have spent several weekends there & absolutely love it. Maybe one day D & I will get the opportunity to take a mini vacation there. I know we would have a splendid time.

Bedroom Redo

We are moving to Memphis & I am not quite sure where we will be living just yet, but I do know there will be some redecorating. I got some new bedding on Black Friday & it's a black & white damask print. If I could I would get some of these wall sconces to use in the master bedroom on either side of the bed.

And they are called Crystorama. I think that's pretty sa-weet!

I like that song....It's catchy!  But it also makes me think of Nelly. I remember when he launched that line of jeans. But I don't think I have ever seen a pair in person. I know it's not just jeans now either. There is a whole line of stuff.

Star Struck

When D & I were dating & first married we would watch wrestling. I think I was so in love I would have watched anything just to spend time with my new man. We were living in LA & one day one of the famous wrestlers went walking through the store I was working at, at the time. I was completely star struck, so I went running after them & got their autograph. It was my first star sighting. It was so funny because my co-workers thought I was nuts...They had no clue who that wrestler was.

Pounds Overload

I was looking up apidexin & it says you can possibly lose 4-7 pounds a week while using it. Those are some pretty good odds. I would love to lose that a week...I would love to lose more than that, but ya know! I would settle for any weight lose at this point. This last year I have put on way more pounds than I am willing to admit. Life has been crazy & food had been my very best friend.

The Kids

Blackheads be gone

Even though I have rarely had to deal with bad skin, I do have blackheads on my nose. And so does D. It would be need to find a www.homeremediesforblackheads.com to help with ridding mine & D's nose of blackheads. I have used those little stick pads that pulls the blackheads out, but it seems to just leave your pores open for more dirt to collect. So there has to be something better to use & or prevent the blackheads.

Vitamins Baby!

I need to find some of the best multivitamins. I had a cabinet full of all kinds, but as I finished up a bottle I wouldn't replenish my supply. Now I am completely out. After Mom had gastric bypass, vitamins became a huge part of her daily routine. She has a basket overflowing with them at her house. I guess if I ever really needed some, I could just walk next door & snag a few.

Skinny Minded

I don't think there is a day that goes by that I don't see an ad for weightloss diet pills, on TV, in a magazine, on the web & now they are on the side on my e-mail! It's pure madness. But it is just proof of our true desire to lose the pounds that weigh us down. I have battled it my entire life. I do not remember a time, when weight was not on my mind. I was always the biggest kid in elementary school, in all areas. But I stopped getting taller & everyone passed me. I just continued to grow wider! Haha!

Microphones

From the time I was very little I had a great love of music. And thought I had to have a shine microphone to sing with. Mom made me one out of aluminium foil. I was the happiest singing little girl you can imagine. Then when I became a teen, I began singing in church & once again a microphone was in my hand. Then I married a soundman & yet again microphones are in my life, but these are not made of aluminium foil.

Putting Stuff To Good Use

I have been doing alot of couponing for the last couple of years & I get free stuff from time to time. Once I got some acne products, but had no use for them. I just put them in my "stock pile" of stuff. Then found out about a father who had lost his job & he had 2 teenagers. So I fixed up a bag full of all kinds of products. I added the acne stuff to it. I figured they could use them. One thing that makes a stressful situation even more stress if being worried about your appearance...Especially for a teen. I hope they got to put them to good use.

Reviews

Just like anything else in this world there are good and bad phentermine reviews. I guess you just need to weed through them, talk to your doctor & discover what is best for you. I have personally used it before & found some success. The best success though was with making healthy food choices & adding exercise to my daily routine. The most I lost was around 50 pounds.

I love, love, love this ornament tree! I have been wanting one for a long time. I think they are sooooo neat! Maybe I will finally get one this year. I'm not sure where I would put it though. I already have 3 Christmas trees going up. And have thought about putting up one for the "furbabies." I'll be honest my trees are usually up already, but there has just been no time to get them out. I am going to have to make time though. I have not been in the Christmas mood.

Holiday Painting

So.....It's a week from Thanksgiving. I am consumed with painting. I'm finishing up a batch today. And doing some deliveries tomorrow. I enjoy it, but I am ready to set that paint brush down & enjoy the holidays.

Inkjet

With my "little painting business" going on, I seem to use my printer more than normal. I actually just sent Daniel to go get some inkjet cartridges. Can not work without ink in the printer. How easy it is nowadays to change ink cartridges. I can remember a time when it seemed like you had to basically stand on your head to change them! Thankfully those days are over.

Jewelry Making

I have recently been working at a place that sales costume jewelry & I am sit tagging some of the piece I think about how fun it would be to design & create my very own unique pieces of jewelry. I would need to get some jewelry making tools, beads & some wire to start off with. I am sure I would enjoy it. I am in the midst of doing tons of painting right now, so the idea of being creative in another medium sounds very appealing.

Office Decor

We have a room that used to be considered the "computer room" but once we got a laptop, it is now the dogs room. I would love to remodel the room one of these day & turn into a home office/ craft room. And this photo would for sure hang in it. I have loved this photo since the very first time I saw it when I was a kid. I would need some special office décor, but I would want the room to have a very retro feel. That I know for sure.
