A Getaway

Everyone needs to getaway from time to time. Most people run to the beach, but Branson Missouri, seems to have some great attractions.
I was looking over their website & found some pretty awesome things that intrigued me.
One being the Titanic museum. Also 50's at the hop & 57 Heaven Museum. From what I hear Branson is a great place to take the family, there is so much to do that everyone will be happy with the vacation. And don't forget the shopping!
Here is one of the other attractions I found...Silver Dollar City
Nestled in the forested hills just minutes from Branson, Silver Dollar City has everything you could want for a family vacation. Take a remarkable journey back in time to experience true, old-fashioned Americana and Ozark splendor. Silver Dollar City boasts over 30 rides and attractions and is home to the amazing Marvel Cave, but what makes this theme park truly unique is the dozens of craftsman that practice the same skills used by the residents of the Ozarks who lived here in the 19th century, from baking to metal crafting.

Here are some of the packages that they offer.

So, if you are in the market for a getaway & just don't know where you want to go, be sure & give Branson some thought.

Chains

I have a few charms & pendants that I can't ware because I don't have a chain to put them on. I've been looking for a white gold chain. I don't like real chunky necklaces, so I want something thin & light. I'm definitely not into those huge chunky things that rappers wear. How do they carry those anyway? Their backs have to hurt before the day is out. And to top it off they have those large pendants. Crazy stuff.

Coupons

I am such a budget shopper. I don't buy things unless on sale, clearance or with a coupon.
There are some stores I don't even attempt to go into because they rarely have sales & if they do, they aren't good ones.
Some stores provide coupons that most people not aware of. There are Macys coupons for instance. If you click the link to shows what coupons they are offering at the time. It's a great way to get the most for your hard earned money.

Now back to regularly scheduled programming.

Showtime

I didn't realize this but Branson Missouri has alot more to offer that just some shows. They also have resorts & great shopping. I actually more to offer than I think most people knew about. I have never considered taking a trip there, but after looking at their city website, it has completely changed my mind. I don't think you could get bored there!

Lift Me Up

Plasma TV's are pretty awesome. I don't own one, but maybe someday. I look at them from time to time when out shopping. I do really like the idea of tv lift cabinets. To be able to have a room that isn't arranged to face a big black TV would be nice. To hide the TV away when not in use, that's good too. I also think having one of these cabinets at the foot of the bed, is pretty fabulous too.

Beep Beep

I wonder if alarm system monitoring would be an fun job? Think about it, you would know when a home was being burglarized. You would know before the police. I think that would be a job you could take pride in. Knowing you saved someone or their personal things. And helped put away a dangerous person. It's a job I have never thought about before, but I think it would something I would enjoy doing.

A Year In Pictures

I get really excited when the new calendars for the upcoming year come out. I always get a I Love Lucy calendar every year & have since 1996. It's my 'thing.' Hahaha! The mission to find that calendar has become a a quest each year. This year it fell on D's shoulders & he come through! Some people could care less about what hangs on their wall for 12 months, but I take the calendar picking process very seriously. I know when I have kids, I would to have custom printed calendars made for grandparents. What a special gift to give, huh?

Light The World Or At Least A Room

At the beginning of the new year, I sat down with a notebook & wrote down everything that needed to be changed in every room of the house. Also outside too. The constant in every room & outside was lighting. I need new light fixtures in every place. I told D that this year is a year of change. And that means the way our home looks. We need to focus our money on improving the place we dwell. So, I'm not constantly looking for the best deals on things to use to make those improvements.

Go Golf

As I have said many times before, I have absolutely no clue about golf. I'm sure if someone took me to play, I would be alike like Lucy & Ethel in that one episode that Ricky & Fred, teach them how to play the wrong way. Maybe I should get my brother to teach me to play. I know he enjoys golf. I wonder if he has any Nike golf clubs? If he doesn't I'm sure he would love to have them.

Travel Time

I have some mismatched pieces of luggage that I have accumulated throughout the years. But no two pieces are alike. I would love to own a complete luggage set of matching pieces. Actually I would like to have 2 sets. One for me in pink, polka dot or zebra print & one for D in blue. That would be fun & there would never be any confusion as to who's bag it is. I think I need to add a luggage sets to my lists of things to buy someday.

Prescriptions

I honestly never really thought about medicare part d. The only thing I ever knew about it was from those commercials with older people talking about how they couldn't pay for their medicine.
Then when my Mom turned 50, she was pretty happy about the benefits would be able to receive now that she was considered a senior.
Medicines are outrageously expensive & people need help with them. If you are eligible for medicare part d, then don't hesitate.
