Office Decor

We have a room that used to be considered the "computer room" but once we got a laptop, it is now the dogs room. I would love to remodel the room one of these day & turn into a home office/ craft room. And this photo would for sure hang in it. I have loved this photo since the very first time I saw it when I was a kid. I would need some special office décor, but I would want the room to have a very retro feel. That I know for sure.

Grateful for driving

As I was driving home from the grocery store today I was thinking about how long I have been driving. find that has been 17 yrs. And sometimes I am still amazed that I can. I don't take the ability to drive for granted. I think that may be partly to do the fact that we have one car & me driving feels like a luxury since I don't have the care very often. Thankfully in all my years of driving I have been blessed to not be pulled over, except for once. But nothing happened....Thankfully. I have a friend that has the best radar detector money can buy. I once went with him on a trip to Florida & I know for a fact he would have been pulled over on several occasions if not for that thing. He's a scary driver & I was oh so grateful to finally be home.

Stock Market

I have zero clue about the stock market. I don't know the difference between Forex charts & a technical chart. My mind goes completely blank when it comes to it all. I'm glad there are people out there that know all the ends & outs of those numbers & what it all means. But as for me....No way! I'm a do-do.

Chin Acne

I haven't ever dealt with acne much, but the older I have gotten the more it has been a bit of a problem. When I do occasionally get it, it's normally around my nose or on my chin. It drives me crazy. Maybe I should go to http://www.chinacne.org & buy some acne treatment. I wouldn't need it much, but when those little boogers pop up, I would be ready!

Wedding Shows

I've been married for over 10 years, but I still love watching wedding shows. There are so many on now that there always seems to be one on. Actually there is a new wedding channel, I don't have that one, but wouldn't totally watch it if I did. I just adore everything about the shows. From what flowers they choose for the centerpieces, to the wedding dress, to the interactions with the planners. It's all so dramatic & fun!

Where did the year go???

How in the world did most of October pass me by???? I am freaking out a bit with the idea that this year is almost over. Didn't it just turn 2010? Every year I know I say this year was the fastest year ever. But honestly...This was the fastest year ever!

Flashlights

Christmas if fast approaching & with that Christmas shopping & looking for the perfect gifts for those we love. Danny is always one that stumps me when it comes to finding him something. One thing he loves is flashlights. I don't know how many flashlights I have bought him throughout the years, for Christmas, birthdays & Father's Days. I don't think he has any led flashlights so I guess that is what he will be getting this year.

New Insurance

I've been thinking lately that we may need to get some new car insurance quotes. I am just trying to think of the best way to cut back on some of the bills & this may be one way to help if we can find the same kind of coverage but for a cheaper price. Even if it's just $10-$20, that would be worth changing insurance companies. These days we are pinching pennies so every little bit helps.
