New Year's Resolution!!

I don't normally make a New Year's Resolution. This year I decided to make one and hopefully stick to it. I want to learn to speak Spanish. I love learning new things and am going to try to do this on my own.
What is your New Year's Resolution?

Learning Spanish is a great goal! I know that I tried to learn it before we moved to Seguin, I took a college level course, but had to leave after 4 weeks of classes. I learned a little, but mostly figured out that I knew more than I thought! I could write out at least 100 words in Spanish, and I didn't even realize I knew that many. I learned more once I moved to Seguin. And going to Mexico helps too. The big thing is being around people who speak it. I can understand alot of it, but I have not learned to translate from English to Spanish quick enough to speak it. We also have a lot of Spanish TV here, so watching that helps too. I have a book in my office that we used for my class in Dallas, I think its called "Spanish for Gringo's" or something like that. I will let you know for sure. Its the best TEXT book you can get to help you. Plus there are those great computer texts too. I have one of those, you get to play games and its fun to learn. But again- USING it is KEY. Find someone who speaks spanish and have them challenge you.

I have not set my goals for 2006 yet. But as soon as I do, I will post one for you!
