Stocks & such

I honestly have no clue about stocks & bonds, and what exactly do commodity brokers do? It is definitely a world of the unknown to me & anything to do with numbers, I just go blank. Me & numbers just don't compute. I wish I were better with math. And I would love to know more about the Nasdaq & all that the stock market has going on.
