This is my third bottle of Tresor. I LOVE this stuff. It smells good enough to drink. I have not smelled any parfume that I can afford that I like better. Crstal and Daniel gave me a bottle of another fragrance, which I asked for, this past Christmas but I couldn't wear it. For some reason it just smelled different on me than it did on that magazine strip. I finally took it back to the store and swapped it with a little extra cash and bought me another bottle of TRESOR!! I got a free gift from the Lancome counter because of my purchase.
From there we went to Hobby Lobby and I bought me a skein of yarn on sale and I am matching it up with a skein of beige I already have to make me a scarf and I also bought me two pattern books. One is for Crochet and one for Knit. The Crochet book has a patter in it for a Cherry throw and pillows I want to make for myself as well. The books were originally $18.00 a piece and I got them for $1.99 ea. I LOVE a bargain.

My New Do!!!
Crystal and I went today to get our hair cut, well that's all I had done anyway. The two pics in the pink shirt are the before pictures. The look on my face is for you, Deb!! (he-he) I had to come home and wash my hair before we got after pictures because it took about 4 hours longer to do Crystal's than mine and I had been sweating and it looked pretty bad. The only thing they really cut was the back and it is EXACTLY what I wanted. It just needed shaping and a little took of the back to give some lift. I LOVE it!!!!
Go here to see Crystal's do!!!
MY WORD!! Look at them jawls would ya!

My First Knitted Item!
I just finished my first knitting project which is a pink and gray scarf, which I have always known as and still call a MUFFLER!! I knitted two yarns together at the same, a pale pink yarn and a mingled gray & white yarn. I love the way it came out. So PROUD of myself. Crystal says it matches my hair. I already have a second project started but am fixing to start a third. I am ADDICTED!!!
My Knitting Needle Case!!
FREE-CYCLE!!
I posted on free cycle about my new hobbie and if there was anyone out there that had any knitting supplies laying around they didn't want to contact me. Well, I had two very nice ladies meet up with me and from one I got two sets of knitting needles which happen to be the exact needles, size and all that I was wanting and the second lady met me with a garbage bag full of yarn. So, two THUMBS UP for Free-Cycle!!!!
I WON!!
Crystal and i both posted several weeks ago that we were going to the library and checking out books for the summer reading program and for every five books you check out, you get to put your nbame in the pot to be drawn for door prizes. Well, my name was drawn. YES!! I won a gift card from a place called 'Bead Biz' in Helena. I'm so excited. I'm gonna go next week to check it out as well as a store across from it which is a Knitting Store, ( my new favorite thing to do -KNIT)!!

My newest hobby!!
I have been able to crochet for as long as I can remember. Crystal even has a Barbie Outfit that I crocheted for one of my Barbie's when I was a kid. When my Mom was alive I use to sit and watch her knit. I thought that it looked like so much fun so she attmpted to teach me. I felt as if I was all thumbs. Just couldn't get the hang of it. Recently I have been watching a show on DIY called "Knitty Gritty" and it has stirred up a new desire to learn to knit. I went to Wal-Mart and bought me a teach yourself to knit kit and some yard for Crystal and I because she wants to learn as well and I thought it might be kind of fun to learn together.
I couldn't wait to get home to give it a try. At first I would get very frustrated, but I was determined to learn. It looked too easy for me not to be able to do this. After many tries and several sets of needles (metal and bamboo) and watching different peoples techniques on tv as well as on-line videos, I finally got the hang of it. I am loving it. So much fun.
"IRISH TWINS"
Irish twins is a slang term that refers to siblings born 9 to 12 months apart - usually in the same calendar year, or who are in the same class in school. The term is considered both endearing and misguided (for instance, Irish birthrate is about same as USA birthrate, see birth rate). It references a perception about families of Irish Catholics who may not use birth control (and thus may have children in quicker succession), but it is often used endearingly by the families of the "twins" themselves.
